Milai Liang
Freelance artist.Originally from Beijing China, she finished her art degrees from schools in the US and Italy. As an artist and a female who has a diverse background, she creatively explores the harmonious juxtaposition of paper cutting and portrait drawing. In the form of collages, her works exhibit the contrasts of colors and textures while the visual presentation is aesthetically rendered. The essence of her art, the immersion per se, embodies femininity and childhood memory. Her works, featuring of portrait drawings integrated with cut patterns into collages, become her stylistic mark. Through observation and comprehension, she portrays women and children in their intimate and frozen moment. Meticulous and articulate brushwork pays tribute to the classic craftsmanship of art.
